The Skylink model SG-18R provides 2 different applications:
Garage Door Receiver:
Works with most brands of garage door opener.
Connect 2 wires to the terminals of your existing wall button.
Plug the receiver into the AC outlet inside the garage.
Control the garage door opener with a simple push on a remote button.
Lighting Control Receiver:
Plug in the light fixture or small appliances.
Plug the receiver into the AC outlet inside your house.
Control the plug-in devices on and off with a simple push on a remote button.
